Maxi-MAb media supplement
Maxi-MAb has been developed for the production of monoclonal antibodies
(MAb) from hybridomas and recombinant protein production from
engineered CHO K1 or BHK 21 c.13 cells. It is completely free
of animal-derived and recombinant proteins, insulin, IGF, steroids,
surfactants, polysulfated anions and fatty acids. It does contain
a plant hydrolysate. It has been designed for cost effective,
high-quality protein production by increasing preocess control,
simplifying purifications, and eliminating regulatory concerns.
It is supplied as a 50 X concentrated supplement which is to be
added to basal media.
